Privacy
privacy
is an Android app. This page says what the app does with speech, text and keys.
No account, no analytics
There is no sign-up and no account. The app does not use analytics and does not send usage data to OSSFlow. The app has no telemetry.
Audio
Audio is sent only to the transcription provider you configure. OSSFlow deletes that audio from the phone after transcription. OSSFlow has no servers of its own that keep it. The provider’s own data policy still applies.
What stays on the phone
History and the personal dictionary are stored on the phone. API keys stay on the phone. Each dictation is also copied to the clipboard so you can paste it if an app will not accept the text.
Accessibility
The accessibility service reads the focused text field only, so the transcript can be inserted there. It does not read other screens.
